The main symptoms of COVID-19 are:
A high temperature. This is a temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius or higher
A new, continuous cough. This means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste. This means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Prior to your appointment we will verbally screen you for these symptoms over the phone (see our clinic entry and exit page).
As you enter the clinic room you will be asked to use the wall mounted (non-contact) temperature scanner, to do this you simply stand facing the scanner and it will automatically read your temperature. If your temperature is above 37.8 then we will not be able to continue with your physiotherapy session and will arrange for you to attend another appointment (please note that there will be no fee to pay in this situation).
